Pastor Burton accepted his call to ministry in 2003 and was ordained as an Elder in July of 2006. 

 

He began his work here at Spirit of Truth when he and his family moved to Springdale, Arkansas in 2008.

 

In May 2012, he was appointed the role of Pastor, where he adopted the vision for the church to be "A Light in a Dark Place".

 

In 2015, he began serving his position of Assistant Superintendent of the Fort Smith District.

 

On top of being a Pastor, father and community figure, he was also able to continue his education earning a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Management from the University of Phoenix and a Masters of Public Administration degree from South University.
